The Paper Road, is based on a property rights battle that took place in Yachats, Oregon.
The battle between property owners, the city, and the county against special interest groups that wanted to tear down homes to create a trail.
The battle cost three elderly property owners their lives and cost taxpayers millions of dollars.
It lasted over six years ended when property owners won their case in the Oregon Supreme Court.
Someday, I would hope to find the time and commitment to complete this heroic tale...
